It's about time!

It's about time I blogged! Geez! I was texting my sister-in-law, Charlotte, and she mentioned she needed to blog. Then I decided I did too, seeing how it's been over two months since my last post. So, she and I made a pact to blog more frequently. (Char, I'm holding you up to that:) )
Here are some recent pictures, but let me update you first. Patrick is still in school for the summer semester. His last day is August 5th which is my birthday. Now, I don't know about you, but for those who have/had husbands in school it's a relief when they are finished for the semester and I have to say that's a pretty good birthday present!
As for me, I still am working 30 hours, but now I work 3 10 hour shifts (Tues, Wed and Thurs). It is so nice to have 4 days with the little tyke! And thank you to Ruth and Susan for watching Ganon to make that possible! Words cannot say how grateful I am for you!
Now, Ganon has grown so much within the past 2 months. He rolls from his back to tummy on each side. He talks a TON. And laughs a lot too. He can sit up to 5 seconds by himself. He is now reaching for peoples faces to grab at lips, noses, ears, etc. And he is Huge! But, he is our little angel.
Look how well he sitting up by himself!
On Sunday my parents, sister, Patrick, Ganon and I drove up to Mirror Lake for a picnic. It was beautiful! Just after we were finished eating it started to rain then hail...here are some pics:
Jaqlin The wild flowers were so beautiful! They were everywhere! Ganon is trying to feed himself; what a big boy!!
So, 2 weeks ago Patrick and I decided to start Ganon on solids. Here is how the first time of him eating rice cereal went:
We where instructed by some family members to feed him 1/2 hour before his regular feeding time, that way he wasn't too hungry to not want his solid food. Let me tell you, that made a world of difference! And since he can't sit up totally by himself yet, instead of using the Bumbo right now, we feed him in his car seat so he's more reclined.
He is doing so well now eating his baby food. He loves peas, green beans and isn't too fond of carrots. Next is the sweet potatoes. YUM! The last time Ganon was measured he was 27 1/2 inches long-that was at 41/2 months. He is so long! Most everyone thinks he's going to be a basketball player. What do you think?Yummy feet!!
Hello surprise!!
This video is funny. I was playing with Ganon and I was doing all sorts of weird voices and noises. Well, apparently he didn't like it when I used a deep voice. Check it out.
